And they've got the balls to say the Mustang is at a disadvantage because the "tires are worn" .

I don't care how good the package is from the new mustangs... It still has nothing on the current gen F80s besides sound. It's also the "little" things that start with the exclusive feel of an M badge, quality of materials used, technology, and not seeing one at every stop light as you would any pony car.

Not a fan of the new front end design. Also not a fan of the video in general. Besides the tire issue the guy/girl are not very entertaining.
Nothing wrong with a budget/fun track car, but I’d say if you really want to go that way then the Camaro SS 1LE is the way to go. You can pick them up for quite a bit less than 40k from what I’ve seen. |

Anyway, if you're talking about a budget track car, I think the answer is not a $40k mustang or camaro street car. It's something like a c5z or c6z already prepped for club racing for a lot less. You can find ones that have license plates and up to date registration docs if you look hard enough as well. Or a factory five challenge car that has been through sb100 to get a license plate, or an older radical sr3, etc etc. |

Nothing against Mustangs, but I could throw a tennis ball over my shoulder and hit one. The ball would then ricochet and hit another Mustang, then another, then another before rolling and finally coming to rest under yet another Mustang.
You give up all individuality when you buy one, it's the only thing which stopped me from getting a GT350 over my M4. To me, at least looking somewhat different from the pack is very important. |

^This, there are so many lease special 320s running around and other 3/4 series cars, I feel like I could do the same tennis ball thing he described on them. Neither car is especially exclusive/rare, but there are less GT350s running around due to lower production numbers.

It's like distinguishing a M4 to a 440i msport. To the average person there's no difference, but to a car enthusiast it's easy to spot a gt350. I still admire it every time I see one.
