Interior Trim Wrap

I am OK with the fineline wood, but it scratches really easily. Considering wrapping the interior trim, maybe a carbon fiber weave wrap.

I am thinking that it'll be an easy non-permanent way to change the interior look while also protecting the original trim.

Thoughts? Anyone do this?
