Dinan Stage 1 + Catless Downpipes

Before there is any rants on you should have gone MP Stage 2 or bootmod3 I am dealt the cards I currently have. Saying that I have done some research on the forums and have not really come across a definitive answer on what is going to happen or what could happen. Also yes I understand it voids the warranty.

My question is running a Dinan stage 1 with catless downpipes.

1. Does the horsepower gain drop, stay the same, or no effect?
2. I overheard it is possible to put the car into limp mode with such a setup. True False?
3. Is there any possible side effects besides the smell, wastegate rattle, and increased noise?

1) HP will go up slightly
2) No, you will get a check engine light but won't go into limp mode
3) Only other downside excluding the reasons you listed is that the car won't pass smog
