NEED ADVICE: Found a used M3. Have some questions.
So I went to check out a super clean 2015 M3 today. I test drove it and the engine seems super tight. The price is very reasonable as well. I'd pull the trigger instantly if not for the car being out of warranty due to high-ish mileage. The dealer does offer extended warranty but it does not cover any regularly scheduled maintenance.
So my question to you guys that have had your cars for a while is:
That's all I can think of now. Thanks for any help!

Agree, find a good indy. My first F80 was an early 2014 ex BMW car which I bought in October 2015. It didn't come with a service plan so it went to an indy specialist from day 1 of my ownership. Service costs weren't much more than my previous 335i.

I just bought a 16' with 27k miles. Dealer quoted me $1700 for spark plugs alone. I know indys charge $500 or so. I paid $700 to dealer to extend maintenance (one oil change, plugs at 30k and a brake flush made it worth it).
Warranty companies sell warranties, not maintenance plans.

It looks like AutoNation sells both maintenance and warranty plans. They are a pretty reputable org. I may give them a call. Anyone have any experience with them?
