Follow up call from BMWNA after recently leasing a new M3
Got a call a few weeks ago (about 6 weeks after purchase) from BMWNA checking in on how things were going. They've been surprisingly diligent in follow up, and don't appear to be the old-school "on a scale of 1-5" guys. First time this has happened to me in ... 5 BMW leases. Is this a new thing? An old thing for more expensive cars than I've been getting? An M-only thing?
Wondering how much teeth they have with the dealer...

I got a call too, a few weeks after purchase. The guy was obviously an enthusiast and was asking a lot of probing questions -- what I did and didn't like, my reasons for making particular choices and having certain preferences. I was happy to oblige, I figure it has a chance of of helping them make a better product and meet our needs/wishes.
