Satin Black Wheels

Obsessed with this color and I'm currently in the market for some 22" wheels. Replicas or aftermarket. Show me your satin black setup. Please omit gloss black as that's not my cup of tea.

I had satin and gloss black combo on my previous car and it looked great. I bet you'll like it. When I traded it in, the dealer wanted me to keep them on.

I like those! How wide are the wheels and what tire sizes are you running? I've been looking at some styles very similar to yours. Just not 100% sure I want such an open spoke to where the brakes art that exposed. As I don't plan on doing any upgrades and stock brakes aren't that pleasing to the eye.

I'd really like to find the 22" style 375 replicas in the satin black finish, but they seem to be on back order EVERYWHERE I've looked

I had replica 22" 375s on an X6 50i and cracked 3 wheels in two years. This was just normal driving, normal city roads and nothing crazy. With the weight of this vehicle, the very thin tire side walls and the cast nature of these replicas its bound to happen to others as well. Ordering new replicas to replace cracked wheels while not being able to drive the vehicle made me crazy. Will not go to 22" again unless they are forged.

Agreed forged is better. Never cracked my 24s. People bash the price of forged wheels but you get what you pay for.

Damn man, I'm glad you brought this to my attention! Haven't heard many cases of this on here. Your explanation from a structural standpoint makes sense. So what did you replace the reps with?

I traded the vehicle in after that and have been swearing by OEM wheels since then. I have run 21" OEM Style 215 wheels with no issues at all. They are bombproof but replacing tires costs a fortune ($2k). So you need to choose where you spend your pennies. I am going to go to a 20" summer set-up this spring and will likely get 469s coated satin black (white mineral exterior). Hope this helps.
