Can I turn my lease in with different style OEM Wheels?

My 2018 M3 ZCP came with the 666M wheels. Per the 2018 M3 Pricing Guide, black 437M were a no cost option for ZCP so the two types are exactly the same price from the factory. The 437M I want to turn the car in with are a clean, original set from another M3.

Can I turn the car in with the 437M wheels instead, or will the dealership make a big deal out of it? IDK if they’ll notice so it’s a risk, I guess. Anyone ever try this?

With lease returns they look at the manufacture wheel and tire sticker on the door jam of your car. If they are off then they charge you.

Are you getting another BMW? If so, I doubt they care but make sure at the last minute after the deal is secured.

As Chu above said, a dealer might overlook the discrepancy if you're trading. Let us know how this works out OP.

True. If getting another then they do not care at all. At the time of getting M4, I returned by 340i with front windshield cracked and they didn't care

Thinking about selling them. I have the 19s and I like them better. Don’t want to have extra wheels taking up space

The car has to be returned as it came. Them noticing is the real key. If the dealer decides to buy it from BMW and signs off on it, I think you are clear. If not, and it goes through all the channels, I suspect you will get a bill at some point and it will be too late to make right.
