Patched tires

Any issues running at high speed and hard acceleration ?Just patched my 21" PSS

While a well-done patch should allow for full acceleration and braking, I was told (perhaps incorrectly) that one should treat a patched tire as one speed rating lower than original.

Z->V->H

When I replaced my MPSS’s, one rear had 4 patches, no issues at high speeds.

When my Pirelli P Zero on my FtypeR was patched, Pirelli told me that the speed rating is no longer guaranteed.

While you may have no problem doing it, you lose manufacturer guarantee with patching. Everyday driving is all good even highway, but not recommended for track.

As long as you are not hard braking or hard accelerating on that patched spot, you'll be good.
