Which wheels do you guys recommend?
Hey guys,
Been driving my black F86 for some time now. Seriously considering aftermarket wheels, probably 22's. Any wheels you guys recommend? Dont want to spend too much money. Post some pictures too if you guys have any. thanks |

After stalking photos online I pulled the trigger on Vossen HF2. Should be arriving in a week or two. Meanwhile there are a bunch of photos available by google search.

Asking for wheel suggestion with just mentioning the size, it is like finding needle in the haystack.
You need to mention what is your budget. By reading your initial post, I can recommend you from $3000/wheel to $1000/set. $3000/wheel for some it can be not too much money. That's not even mentioning what style and finish that you have in mind. Lasty would be what brand of tires.

depends where you live. if the roads around you have a shitty surface, i would stick with 20” wheels.
i definitely notice a difference in road noise when i have 20s on vs 21s. |

Depending on where u live 22's may not work well. I'm in a rural area and we only have one shop that has the equipment to mount/repair/etc a 22" tire. It's a pain in the ass

I am in Los Angeles area. I think you are right. I hear people in my area complaining about their 22's being to rough for LA road

My Vossen HF2 are now on, i think they look great. Just ordered a KW V3 set, so a slight drop should eliminate the wheel gap. With 22s the tire sidewall is so slim that I think the drop is needed...just saying that if you go with 22s you might be opening up a Pandora's box of more mods. But it's a hell of a box and better than crack!!
