Suspected Idle Control Valve Faliure

Hey guys

My car has been having some rough start up issues lately. On start up the car will rev to 1500rpm then drop to 500rpm and then will bounce for a bit after which it will stabilize. After doing a bit of research and checking the codes (attached) ive come to the conclusion that the idle control valve needs replacing. However, the car was at my mechanic today and i was told upon start up it bounced once and then shut off, as if it stalled i guess (its a dct car). Is my diagnosis still correct or could there be another issue behind this

Thanks in advance

Based on my research hit the known issues that contribute to idle issues like throttle actuators both gearing and electronics then look at the ICV or FBV. Some tools can run dedicated diagnostics for each of these parts to help process of elimination.good luck and keep us updated.

When my idle control valve decided to go it eventually went into limp mode and never recovered until it was replaced.
