Donington Grey X5M + Donington Grey i8 Roadster = :)
I've been lusting for an i8 Roadster ever since they went into production just over a year ago. I didn't want to pay MSRP, so I've been patiently waiting. Well, the opportunity came in March for a great deal on the car, so I ordered one. It took approximately three months from order to delivery; I took delivery two weeks ago.
I've only put 300+ miles on it so far, but I'm loving every minute I drive it. It's the first convertible I've owned, and also the first plug-in hybrid. I'm very pleased so far. Obviously it's a much different vehicle than my X5M, but still a lot of fun!  My good friend Mik3ymomo and amateur photographer (although I think his skills are more on a professional level ) did a photo shoot of my new i8 Roadster yesterday. The photos came out great!!  Thank you Mike for capturing the beauty of the i8 Roadster!!

Congrats with the new car, it looks really nice! How fast is it compared to the x5m? Are there any decent lease deals or too early?

I haven't put the pedal to the metal (actually carbon fiber lol) yet, but it's plenty fast, just not as fast as my X5M. I have the Dinan Stage 1 on the X5M, so my other cars seem slow in comparison. The handling is excellent and the seats are very comfortable. BMW has some great lease deals right now, especially for i8 Coupes/Roadsters in stock, check out bmwusa.com. I think production has ended for the 2019 model year (according to my Sales Manager, BMW isn't accepting new production orders). If you're interested in an i8, there are plenty available online.
