Plus, it's in the manual. I lowered mine, the other day... also made it a little softer.

No. All you would have to do is remove the plastic spacers (C-clips) and use the spanner tool to lower it down to the bottom height. Both front and rear should be adjusted equally. You should not just lower the rears without lowering the fronts

The C-Clip might be held too tight with the lower adjuster, back it down a 1/2 turn and see if the Clip comes out easily. Make sure to loosen the set screw in the bottom adjuster first.
