Chassis Failure?

Good Afternoon,
Anyone have any type of major or even minor chassis failure on their f80? Mine began as a creaking dash that's gotten worse and worse, but now I'm hearing some loud pops seemingly from the front end when driving up and down curbs. I've thought at times the windshield was going to shatter. It's as if the structure is not as rigid and is flexing a lot more.

I would attach a video if it was possible

These noises are most dramatic when approaching any curb at an angle rather than head on

I really don't think it's the chassis. The F8X is one of the stiffest chassis out there.

That's what I hear, and that's what lots of reviews say as well. My 3/4 ton dodge has 110,000 miles on it and doesn't make a peep doing the same thing, and it's got a stiff frame and suspension for hauling. This car sounds like the dash is being twisted

A lot of the noises people hear are actually the door seals squeaking against the shadowline trim. Try lubricating th door seals and see if it helps. I applied Teflon tape to all of my shadowline trim and it fixed it permanently.

I heard the same thing - took some armor all and wiped down the door seals real well a few weeks ago. No change. Actually the popping noises started after that
What is the shadowline trim?

Armor-all not the best. Alcohol based so it will actually leave it really dry. Try something silicone based.

I do believe the popping noises are coming from the door seals as I open the doors and drove up and down the curb and did not hear that noise. I will try some silicone-based protectant on the door seals and see if that works. Or drive to Teflon tape method. Still doesn't explain the creaking Dash noises, but I have an appointment at the dealer to see if they can solve that problem

There's a thread on F80POST on solutions for creaks and rattles. Would suggest you go through that thread first as it will great help in identifying and resolving some or all the issues.
