I sure hope so... I have a week 39 order and that's what I want my sedan in.

Called BMW NA last week and was told that it is available for dealership to spec on a sedan. My CA still cannot see though

yes, Sedan. was already available on coupe as you know. my dealer just sent me the official option list off their system. Color A52!!!

My CA at Seattle BMW verified SG on the sedan the other day.

Oh, it's ordered! But when I ordered it, SG was not confirmed so I have it in SSII in the mean time. Waiting for SG to be available to have my CA change it.

Will contact my CA today to see what he says.

My CA still tells me he cannot see Space Gray available for my 09 Sedan production number. What gives? This is becoming frustrating.

Can someone post the order guide for the 2009 E90 M3 that shows A52 as a color option.

Maybe I should go with Alpine White and forget about it.

Couldn't get a pdf version of it from my dealer -- or a great pasteable text version either -- but here's what my dealer sent me yesterday off their ordering system. Scroll to the bottom/highlighted piece. They called me to let me know it was available as soon as it hit their system -- and that my production week had moved up one week!

I got fed up with trying to figure it out. I called BMW NA a couple of times and they told me it was available. My CA eventually told me "The order guide shows that Space Gray is available for the 2009 M3 Sedan. However, we were not able to order it through our ordering system" and "It looks like we won't have any answer until next week, because the Western Region Distribution has to talk to National"

Since I was on the cusp between SG and AW, I decided to go the AW route. For now... Although I am week 39 so the door will close soon ;-)

Space Gray is on the German Konfigurator for the M3 Sedan. Fox Red Leather?

Maybe your CA is look at the 2008 M3 e90 in Center Net?

Got confirmation from my CA today.

Sedan, Space Gray, Fox Red, week 36 production, status 112. Space Gray showed up in the BMWNA order system today.

I went to the dealer today to look at the colors.I was not 100% set on white,that was just my backup color.I was about to switch to I.B ,When I asked my C A one more time if she would check on space gray for me.BINGO space gray is available.You know after looking at all of the colors today I would be happy with any color.But am extra happy now.Thank you all one more time.

I am so torn. I am currently week 39 and was initially set on Space Gray. After all this back and forth about SG for the sedan, I decided to go with my backup color: AW. I went to the dealer yesterday and snapped a few photos to help me make a decision. The dealer happens to have a AW sedan and a SG convertible, both with 18s which is what I am getting.

I think I am starting to like AW a bit more. Mainly because I think it brings out the M3 features more. Plus it's a classic color (especially white exterior with red interior). I am a bit concerned about the seemingly large percentage of AW M3s out there. Although, let's be serious... There are not that many M3s on the road.

But I still like SG as a color. it's a beautiful color. It definitely makes the M3 a bit more subdued. Less ostentatious. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing though.

Decisions... Decisions...

Anyway, here are the photos that I took on the lot. Anyone interested to weigh the pros & cons of SG and AW?
