I received an e-mail today from Beverly Hills BMW congratulating me on the first anniversary of my gran coupe. Hard to believe it’s been a year already. And I’m still crazy about her.

Congrats! How deep are you in to the CPO now? I’ll be a month in when I hit my year of ownership.

Well my original factory warranty runs out on July 31, 2020. So I’m thinking about buying an extended warranty. It’s actually kind of a tough decision. I know that the N55 is fairly bulletproof, but then again there are lots of computers and electronic stuff that could go south and cost a lot to replace or repair. I’ve got some time. This car was not CPO. I think because there was so much factory warranty left when I bought her.

I'm at 3 years with mine, and I still love it. My dealer has continued to send me teasers on the 8, but I just can't see trading it for an uglier version. I'm hoping the next 7 is a winner, and that might be my next move. Otherwise, I'll be with the 6 for the foreseeable future.
