E39 parallel 18" staggered alloys on f06

Hi guys

Wondering would the above wheels fit my f06 as winter wheels?

They will be lost in the arch but the grip with rainsport 3s should be great

Thanks guys

You will need hub centric rings in order for the wheels to fit the hub of your f06. The e39 MPars (assuming you mean style 37 MPars) will have a 74.1mm hub/center bore...but the f06 has a 72.56mm hub.

If mount the 18" style 37 MPars with the recommended 18" tire sizes for the f06...not sure why you wrote that they will be "lost in the arch". I have e38 Style 37 MPars mounted with winter tires on my '13 f06 GC and have not issues at all. And the e38 front MPar has a 13mm wheel offset vs the e39's 20mm offset for the front wheels.

I recommend using the calculator at: www.willtheyfit.com to get an idea of how much poke you will have (inset won't be an issue) since the e39 MPars have an offset of 20mm (f) & 24mm (r).

The pic below shows what e38 style 37 MPars looks like mounted on an f06...again, my front wheels will stick out a bit further since they have a 13mm offset vs the 20mm offset your front wheels have. The rear wheels are negligble since the e38 rear MPar has a 25mm offset and the e39 rear MPar has a 24mm offset.

Wheel & Tire Sizes:
  • Front Wheel: 8"x18" wheel w/13mm offset
  • Front Tire: 245/45/18 Michelin X-Ice xi3
  • Rear Wheel: 9.5"x18" wheel w/25mm offset
  • Rear Tire: 255/45/18 Michelin X-Ice xi3

This is great info, and the wheels look great on thr f06...any more photos

The hub centric rings are they a standard store bought item?

Do you have tyre pressure sensors on the mpars ?

Thanks again

...I was shocked that they didn't stick out past the fenders with their much lower offsets...then the big surprise that they also fit over the front brakes. They were a last resort after not finding a used set of 19" Style 367 wheels in time for my first winter. I remembered that the MPars were sitting out in the shed since 2013...so I hit the tire/wheel calculators and found that they could work...then did a test fitting to see if they would fit over the brakes...the rest is history.

You should be able to find hub centric rings either online or from a local tire vendor. You'll need to get 74.1mm to 72.56mm (sometimes rounded up to 72.6mm) hub centric rings. You'll also need to remember to mention them if you have someone else remove or mount the wheels so that they aren't unintentionally forgotten and left on the hub or sometimes they can come off with the wheel. If they don't know they are there...they could get damaged or cause issues remounting the summer wheels if the ring is still stuck on the hub.

Yes, I purchased a set of aftermarket TPM sensors (HUF). All you have to do is initialize them in iDrive like any other time you change the inflation or mount/dismount a wheel.

Thanks. As you mentioned earlier...we've seen style 37 MPars mounted on multiple BMWs other than models they were actually offered on. They're probably one of the most used cross-model BMW wheels.
