Anyone with a few pounds in their bank account and looking for a classic BMW should take a look at the upcoming auction of Jay Kay’s BMW collection coming up for auction in a few days.

The E9, Alpina B9 and E30 are also looked at by Harry in his excellent video (towards the end - starting at 26:09):

I'm just curious .... does that little LED light bar across the front of the E30 provide any meaningful lighting, if anyone has experience using those?

The only experience I have with them is on the front of large lifted pickup trucks, shining brightly in the daylight....

They're really good for off roading. I'm assuming it's fitted instead of the normal round rally lights.

I was at my local dealer recently picking up a few spare parts. From where I had parked I could clearly see a CSL parked in the workshop clear as day.

Got sidetracked by that Rolls Royce at minute 3:17. Have always admired those front designs.
