Squeaky or Puffs of Air Sound Over Bumps
I recently got my 2016 m3 with 14k miles on it. I am wondering what kind of suspension they use because going over small bumps I can hear like almost little puffs of air or a slight squeaky noise? It is faint and you wouldn't hear it unless you had the windows down and going slow. The closest sound to it is like a little puff of air out of a waste gate or valve or something. Any thoughts?

Quote:
1. The gaiter around the strut rod is secured at the top and bottom to prevent dust/debris and has small vent holes to release air as the suspension compresses 2. The bump stops squishing against the top of the shocks when they make contact 3. The swish noise from the oil flowing through the valves in the shock absorbers at high velocities.
