This is a truly nice piece... Curious as to what you paid for it? Do you mind sharing, how much did it cost you and where was it purchased from? Also, does it retain the heated steering wheel function?

Nice. Is it heated by chance? I've always had cf wheels on my cars, but need to find a heated one for this.

Here's the listing. They can custom make the steering wheel to your spec. I opted for red CF inner trim on the center piece.

They can retrofit the heated steering only to the leather part. It was another $1000. So I decided against it. Living in San Diego, I rarely use the heated steering.

Of course it can be retrofitted, but at a co$t; ($1000) in my specific wheel.

Decided to DIY. Here's the progression.
Since the CF steering wheel is "bare bones", I had to remove all the electricronics from the OEM steering wheel and retrofit it to the CF one. Not very hard, definitely time consuming.

Here's what it looks like installed.
Overall, I'm very happy with the mod. You lose the heated function for aesthetics. But you retain the lane departure warning/vibration. You'll have to retrofit the module from the OEM to the CF steering wheel.

I've had a couple of PMs about DIY and the tools needed. Here's what I used:
10 mm socket
T20 torx
16 mm socket
flat head

I'm torn between getting the M Sport wheel in Alcantara and losing my heated steering wheel feature.
I absolutely love it in the winter time, and now that temps are starting to drop here in VA.
The Carbon wheel looks amazing, but for me I don't want carbon overload.

Me too, same exact interior down to the CF shifter and center console except for the Carbon Fiber steering wheel. Do they even make a Carbon Fiber steering with the heating feature.

That leather wrapped airbag, has extremely nice stitch work and embossing.
