Cracked oil filter housing - what not to do!

Decided it was time to change the oil filter housing/heater rubber gaskets since oil was leaking on my 2014 X35i after 40.000 miles. Followed this excellent write-up: https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=25616885. Thought I ordered the correct three identical bolts that connect the heater to housing. But no, I did not. Found out too late that the bolts where not 20mm but 25mm long. That resulted in a cracked oil filter house where the lower bolt sits. Could not feel it was too long when I torqued the bolt. Found out when started engine, coolant all over! Only solution was to buy new oil filter housing and redo everything. The correct bolt is M8x20 #07129905082
