F15 N55 35i Mileage check

I just changed my oil and was curious who is currently leading the miles on the F15.

I currently have ~90,000

The F15 feels better than newer cars I have driven(Honda, Chevy) this is really a good keeper and feels like it's going to hit 200,000 miles without no major problems.

Have you changed your water pump yet?

I am at 110,000KM (70k miles) I plan to do my coils at 120,000 as well as change the spark plugs again (60k KM interval) I'll be checking my belt tensioner and belt this summer aswell. After that its water pump that would be my major concern.

Transfer case and F/R diff were done at 100K. Oil changes every 10K KM. I plan to keep it for another 5-7 years or atleast to 200k KM. Checks all the boxes for what I need it for.

I haven't had any problems with the water pump and I haven't seen anyone with a F15 complaining about the water pump here.
What I did change on this f15 was the
oil filter housing
Oil filter cover gasket
Oil pan gasket (Lower)
Valve cover gasket
New battery went from 90ah to 92ah

What's next on the list is the both lower control brushing (bushing and ball joints)

Haven't done that myself because I heard I need a special tool with pressure to take it out and put it back in.

I'm at ~111000 km (~69000 miles)
recently have had coolant flush, spark plugs, wheel alignment (brand new summer tires), oil change (last week), replaced cabin air filter, replaced engine air filter, front and rear brakes
Lots of work put in the car this year, since I reached the 100k km, everything running smoothly

Did you put those 93K miles on the X5 though? Or did you buy it with high miles?

2018 - and am only at 19K. Granted, I don’t drive that much - even less now with COVID; however, the F15 is still one of the best vehicles I owned.

There's other mileage threads. At 120k miles. Nothing but normal maintenance for the most part.

2014 35i with 105k miles here.

Nothing major except for the rear air suspension at 70k

I'm up to speed with recommended maintenance. It's not my daily driver anymore so I would expect the miles won't go up as high as the first few years.

No engine or transmission issues.

Only at 25k on my 35i but have 143k on another n55. Cant tell them apart. Great engines. F15 is very reliable but having a warranty still isn't a bad idea. I think what kills them is people doing the extended oil changes.

2017 x5 N55, bought with 27k on it, first year owning it and put 42k on it so far trouble free! About to hit 70k
What should I be looking to do? Preventative maintenance wise?
Plugs? Coils? So on… it’s a s drive

108K miles currently. Purchased it w/ 52K miles 4 years ago. Has been solid. About to do the front & rear diff and transfer case fluids. Other than that oil changes at every 6K miles. Refreshed the suspension w/ coilovers and front control arms this past year. Catless downpipe and full exhaust w/ BM3 stage 2 tune for the last 8-10K miles. Super fun to drive and as long as reliability is there I don't see me getting rid of her. Possibly a used G05 X5 40i in the future when (if) prices come down.

Just bought a 2014 x5 35i fully loaded with 118,000 miles.. Drives like a brand new vehicle and everything is so smooth! Hoping to drive it for a few years. Getting ready to do a BM3 tune, charge pipe, and maybe catless downpipe after that.

2014 35i with 144,000 miles. Bought at 92k. Nothing crazy other than a water pump at about 120k and control arms about 10k ago. Almost forgot a valve cover gasket around 100k that I replaced myself.

You're on borrowed time. You should do new spark plugs and coils, new differential and transfer case fluid and new transmission fluid / pan.

Did you replace all the front control arms on both sides? Just curious as I've replaced my passenger side ones, as I was getting a horrible squeak. I'm at 109K miles now. BTW, not far from you in Ooltewah, TN.

Replaced both lower arms. Was getting the squeak when turning into parking spots and things like that. And that's cool. My last 3 vehicles actually came from BMW of Chattanooga but I'm rarely down that way since about an hour drive for me. I've never actually heard from another member that was relatively close to me.
