Do Camber Plates Make The 19" vs 20" Front Wheel Decision Less Critical

Hi there,

I have a 2015 M4 coupe with moderately modified suspension and I'm considering new wheels. I had previously done some homework regarding 20 inch wheels and found that there was "noise" about cars with 20 inch front wheels pushing in corners, such that 19s were considered superior - so - I was going to do either 19s again, or "double staggered" having 19 inch front with 20 inch rear (similar to the CS/GTS). However, my suspension modifications include front camber plates, so I can adjust the contact patch. Does this reduce or eliminate the traction issues with the lower profile tires required for 20 inch wheels, or should I stick with 19s up front?

Thanks,

Chris

I haven't really dug into the wheel specs on these, but changing the offset will also change the scrub radius, which will change the way the front end behaves while cornering. I had another car (e36 M3) that pushed horribly after adding 10mm spacers, with no other changes. On that car, I tweaked the toe a little in the front and got rid of the understeer.
