Florida paint jobs - how to find

Need a little assist here.

I would like to have some panels on my X5 touched up. The only places I know by me (Treasure Coast Florida) are the dealers. If I had to guess, they will want 2k to repaint two spots (no dents but door scrapes with dime to quarter size paint removed).

Can anyone direct me to online resources to find non-dealers who paint BMWs?

That sounds about right to me. The whole panel needs to be refinished so it doesn't really matter is a 1/4 or 3" of paint is damaged.
What two panels is it?

I am not saying it's wrong, just want to make sure I pay a fair price for good work.

Driver's door on the crease, right rear door below the crease and a couple or rock chips on the hood.

Divers door and hood are two panels that you are going to be looking at for the rest of the time you own this x5.
Quality first in my opinion.

Unfortunately I can't point you in the direction of alternative shops.

Agree completely, it's driving me nuts!

Reach out to high end auto detailing and custom shops, ask who they use. I'm sure there are a lot of them in your area of Florida.
