Mine went at 142k miles
Another forum member said his lasted 182k. I will say when they started acting up, it felt like the car was toast. Limp mode sucks.

No need to change these until they fail, but if you want to do them as preventive that's fine. Failed TAs don't cause engine damage, and you get fault codes before they fail completely usually. There's also rebuild services (M Power, Rebuild UK) with fairly quick turnaround and core exchange service.

I'm at 109K miles. I've lubricated these areas at 75k miles and just recently at 105k miles.

Oh, and when mine died I used MPowermotorsports. Great price and lifetime warranty. Don’t go oem direct and pay wayyy more.
