Will non-M sport diffuser fit on a 2016 x5??

my 2016 X5 is in the shop to have the rear bumper cover fixed - i got hit int he back and it bent my muffler and totaled my rear bumper assembly. I asked the insurance company and body shop if I can use different parts - they approved any BMW parts.

I went online and the BMW sites are saying that the M rear diffuser only fits 2017 and 2018 models..but from what I can tell a 2016 is the same..maybe not??

I want to add teh MPE ehxaust, change my rear valence, and possibly add this M sport aero rear lower valence. will it fit???
