Does anybody have any tips on how to mount the covers for the door sills? I have broken three of the plastic rivets and will surely break the remaining if i don't get any tips. Removing it was a walk in the park. Reinstalling not so much.

Usually it's the opposite problem - connectors break on removal but not on installation. I think we need to know more about why they are breaking. From your pictures, the obvious installation method is to line the "rivets" up with the holes and give a swift smack on top. Are the rivets not lined up? If the rivets fit so tight in the holes that they cannot be pressed in then I don't understand how they came out so easily. Perhaps a closeup of a rivet might help.

The problem is really to line the rivets up correctly to hit the holes as you are working blind as the cover does a very good job obscuring both the holes and rivets when installing. The inner side of the cover is "tucked" in under the inner cover forcing you to "fold" the cover down, from the inside and out.

If I am making any sense…

Thanks, I guess there are no shortcuts. The instructions show a much easier example as the cover on the F12 has a pretty substantial fold-down edge on the outer part, obscuring the view of the rivets and holes when installing.

If the two end ones are started correctly then the middle ones must be ok too because otherwise the middle ones would hold one end or the other up to high.
