How hard was it to get those M4 GT4 wheels to fit on the F80?

Pretty tricky tbh, needs shorter LCA, tension rod, and tie rod end just like the GT4 has.

Can you completely turn the wheel if you have all spl links up front?

Any pics in the car.

That’s honestly a great deal for GT4 wheels considering their availability

Any estimates of how much on all the supporting mods in order to put these wheels on? Really tempting to replace my ze40 with this set to fit some 295s up front

Need to replace all the arms, run a ~20mm spacer, and camber with the regular spindle.

If you can find a GTS aluminum spindle, then you can apparently run the in front directly: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&highlight=gt4

The spindle alone won’t make a difference unfortunately. Still need the rest of the changes mentioned along with the fat spacer.

Are the SPL Lower Control Arms, Tension Arms, and Tie Rods able to achieve this? Do the SPLs specifically allow you to shorten the geometry, or do they only lengthen from OEM?

You can shorten, or lengthen, the SPL parts from OEM spec. In order to make the setup work the way I wanted, I ended up using a 1” shorter dogbone for the tension arm, and a e9x LCA (just the aluminum arm part, which is ~1” shorter than the F8x version). The tie rod end worked as-is.
