OK not a good day so far. This morning got error for multi-view camera. Get one side view and that's it. Now I just got "Oil at Minimum Level - add 2 quarts". Problem is I have Liqui Moly 5W40 in there and nobody open that carries it. I do have 2 quarts of Castrol Edge 5W30. Add it or not?

If you run the oil measurement does it show as way low? If yes, and you need to drive it, I'd add the other oil. Mixing oils won't hurt anything. But I'd probably change it fairly soon. Your car burns a lot of oil I presume? I don't think mine has used 2 quarts total in the nearly 4 years I've had it. No idea on the camera issue.

Thanks Opie55. The Measurement did show oil down to Minimum level. I decided to add 1 quart of the Castrol which brought it up to half way between min and max. Odd thing is when I bought the car it had 18K miles on it. At about 22K miles I got the error Engine Oil at Minimum Level. CarFax showed dealer changed oil at 17K miles. So I kept 2 quarts of Castrol in the trunk thinking it was one of those that burns oil. Never added to it over the last 2 years and it is now at 55K miles.

I get the add 2 quarts alert between every oil change. I'd add oil of a different brand if available but keep the same weight, At least
