I did a muffler delete and added an x-pipe. I have catless downpipes to go on as well. I did exactly this on my E70 X5M and loved how it sounds and behaves. There is some drone in comfort mode at certain speeds, but I don't drive it in comfort mode unless I have to.

Only pictures I have, but will grab some more. If you look at my E70 thread on my old car, there are some videos, this one sounds similarly.

Wow how savage does this sound? I have catless DPs with stock exhaust and it's already nasty.

Going in to add an H-pipe to try and smooth out and deepen the tone

The x-pipe really removes all the nasty rasp of it, and of course the cold start is loud for sure. I'll remove that when I install the downpipes.

Oh you don't have DP's yet?

That's when it's going to get "too" loud
