2x BMW PE BNIB available through BMW Canada.
OOOk, looks like I received some poor information. The system I ordered is the only one available (and I'm keeping it for myself). Now, that said - some not terrible news. BMW Canada has 2 systems in stock, they're in BC. No one else, globally, from what I can tell, has any in stock. If you call your local dealer, provide the parts dept with the PN 18-10-2-208-806, they should be able to confirm. You will need to go to the dealer parts dept to actually make the order, it is not available online. I don't know if US based dealerships are able to access parts in Canada. Hi all, 3x OEM BMW Performance Exhaust for 135i (BNIB including the Y pipe resonator delete) - PN 18-10-2-208-806. These are new old stock. Genuine BMW Performance Muffler for E82 135i Coupe and E88 135i Convertible for the 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 model years. This can be used on both N54 twin turbo and N55 single turbo models. Includes rear muffler, Y-pipe, sleeve clamps and "donut" gaskets. On the 135i, the rear muffler is a bolt on, and the Y-pipe installs by a cut/clamp installation. Price is $1600CAD ($1250USD) per system, with local pick up. I'm happy to look into shipping options, but cost of shipping will be up åto you. Please let me know if you're interested. Pictures of the actual box, packaging and exhaust components available. Thanks. You can put me down for one for sure. I figured my odds of finding a PE exhaust at all, let alone a new one in Toronto were slim to none. I’d settled on having to buy a Dinan at this point.

CachacoF80 I have the M Perf Exhaust with an AR 4" Downpipe on my N55 which I regularly take on drives of similar distance. I don't find it drone-y at all. Normal road noise and roof rack turbulence is more annoying if anything.

The thing I love about the PE is it's exactly what you described of enjoying it in spirited situations, but not annoying when commuting. Windows up, I barely hear it, while with windows down it sounds amazing. Driving around town it does have a bit of pops and burbles, even on a stock tune. I'm a fan, but I know not everyone does haha. If you're worried about drone you can always install it without the resonator delete first and see if that works for you. Not sure how much different the PE is on the n55 though, I see you're in the Bay Area, I'm happy to give you a ride along if you want to hear for yourself in person. Shoot me a PM. |
