socal - need OBD II reading - South Bay, West LA, or Encino adjacent area

I failed my smog check due to O2 sensor not being ready
trying to see if anyone's got a OBD II reader that can help me check my car to make sure all sensors are ready before i go back for a retest

Anywhere in and around Torrance, Redondo Beach, West LA, or Encino area
or Koreatown to downtown LA
basically up and down the 405 and along the 10

I'm eventually going to get my own but need something asap
let me know please

I'm in porter ranch.

Did you swap back to oem xpipe? Need to drive for a bit to cycle.

There's a while retarded procedure if you want to give it a go.

so my friend had given me a Veepeak OBD reader but the bimmercode app never worked with it
i didn't realize i can use it with other apps
tried downloading 7 apps before I found one that works (Car Scanner)

anyway
I have stock xpipe
just MS intake and the valved exhaust
Reflashed from Alpine stage 1 to stock tune

finally passed this morning and paid for my registration renewal

The BimmerCode app has it's own special method for bluetooth/wifi readers to connect to it. They lay out the instructions on how to connect, but I too use car scanner which has no issue.

Glad you were able to pass.

Had the same problem a year back. Ended up buying the foxwell NT510. Worth the 200 for me to be able to diagnosis codes on the fly and read out which codes need to be checked before smog.
