F85 Resonator Delete / X Pipe

Hi guys, I've searched this forum and have found dribs and drabs of info but nothing concrete. I am looking for input from anyone who has removed the stock resonators and installed an x pipe. Stock down pipes and stock muffler remain.

I removed the resonators (no xpipe) on my M550i as it seems to be a popular mod, and it now sounds SO much better than the X5M. Deep V8 growl, no rasp at all.

My reason for the x-pipe in the F85 is I have heard they are raspy with just a resonator delete.

Appreciate any advice!
