What’s your lowest KW V3 settings?

I’d love to get as low as possible on the KW’s and have at least a couple threads showing up front. I keep reading the max lowering height is 29.5” from fender to ground. Is that a set measurement from somewhere, even with a couple threads left or is that a recommended max setting from KW?

I’ve seen some X5M’s or X5’s in general which looked lower than that almost down to the top of the tire and would like to have the same stance without sacrificing any premature wear by going outside the recommended specs. Or take my chances if the risk is minimal.

Appreciate any guidance from those with experience on this setup.

Thanks

Current stance:

Ground to Fender is always depends on the tire diameter.

V3 ist that low unfortunately, H&R VTF is a bit lower.
There's a company providing a low V3 version but you're limited because of rear axle bags.

Gotcha. So it wouldn’t matter how much I shortened the rear lowering links, my my limitations will be restricted by the bags is what you’re saying.

BTW, I’m running 295/30/22 up front and 335/25/22 in the rear.

Basically you letting air out the airbags, so at some point the ride quality is gone.
35mm which is close to 1.4 inch is the maximum.

The rear bags/links will go lower then the front kw ever will. So the limitation for kw is ~ 29.5" with stock 21" wheels and tires.

My buddy and I installed my KW V3 this past weekend. She still needs an adjustment to raise the passenger side. For some reason with same measurements the passenger side always sits a touch lower. For the front I only having 1 ring, but likely will come up a ring or 2. As for the rear we measured 63.5mm since it’s in the safe range in KW directions. So far very happy with the ride and comfort!

So obviously Dinan is a subtle drop. It will remove some sway, give a better look. And it is a very complaint ride making use of OEM shock. But KW feels like how the car should come stock. Meaning it doesn’t get loafty over bumps, it manages them smoothly. If you mess with dampening and don’t slam you can have a smoother than OEM ride guaranteed! And if you’re slammed like me with suspension settings on the softer side. It still handles bumps well, and looks great. And trust me when I say we daily this car, wife uses it daily. Then we got two car seats in back and I couldn’t have kids jumping around for my selfish needs lol. But KW is a win in my book!

Let me double check again when I’m down there. Made the mistake of not writing it down because of how simple the process is. But now I wish I did for this situation lol. But I attempted one that was provided on the forums. And at my ride height it handled roads well, but jarring roads got too stiff. Made small
adjustments and it’s already damn near perfect at my ride height. So one more fine tuning and I’ll give you the final numbers.

My wheels are 21” actually, the offset and tire profile make them look larger.
