I have a set of 513M's that I use for the track. They are the standard set with the front's being narrower than the rears.
There is someone local to me who wants to trade fronts for rears. Would having a set of 4 "rears" be better or worse for the track? Any issues with running 4 "rears"? I currently have 15mm front and 12mm rear on my 513s. I also have the option of going 18mm F/ 15mm R Thanks

I run a set of 4 513M rear rims on my M2 with 275/35/18 tires.
You will giving up the ability to run wider tires for the track. Quote:

I currently run with the 255/275 OEM setup. I'm not planning on going any wider for the time being. Any other downsides? Any advantages?

The advantage of running a square set of rims and tires, is being able to swap front tires to the rear to help balance out tire wear and save some money.
I can usually get an additional 2-3 track days off of a square set. Instead of 4-5 days on my track tires, I can get 6-8 days. I also have two square 10” wide sets of Apex and a set of Bimmerworld rims.
