Question about troubleshooting error codes

Hi,

I'm very new to BMW (this is my first), so I'm trying to find the right approach to troubleshoot error codes and eventually finish this project (I'm rebuilding an F86 after front-end collision).

I've replaced all of the known broken parts, cleared all errors (with Bimmerlink), etc. I've done a bit of this with Audi in the past, and a lot of times when there where lots of codes being thrown, it would make sense to start on a specific code and sometimes that would clear up a bunch of the others. Not sure if BMWs behave the same way when it comes to error codes.

Anyway, here is the current list of codes that I'm getting. Any ideas on which ones would be the smartest to start looking at, and which ones to wait on?

Code:
0D HKFM
1 error
80177C: HKL: Blockage of the tailgate detected

12 Motor electronics
1 error
1D2404: Map thermostat, control: line break

29 Dynamic stability control MK60 E5
1 error
D355AA: Signal error (status ARS, ID: ST_ARS) - Invalid

2C Parking maneuvering assistant
1 error
803201: Power supply Front ultrasonic sensors: short circuit between positive and negative

39 Vertical dynamics management
2 errors
480C01: Oil level too low or no signal (engine running, vehicle stopped)
480C02: Oil level too low or no signal (vehicle is running)

78 Automatic heating and air conditioning
1 error
80119D: Motor stratification front left: blocking
(I replaced the entire PDC harness, so that one is strange, unless it is upstream from where the harness plugs in under the passenger headlight.)
Oh, and I replaced the battery, but haven't coded a new battery yet. Could that make a difference?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks. I've registered the battery with BimmerLink, but I'm still getting the same results.

Are these codes throwing up any CELs or dash errors? Or just codes when you run the diagnostic software? I’m wondering if any of the parts need to be “programmed” to the car?

Thanks for the responses. Here is an update in case it helps anyone searching later.

12 Motor electronics
1 error
1D2404: Map thermostat, control: line break

- This appears to actually be a bad thermostat. Looking to replace this weekend. Ordered a stock thermostat, but now wondering if I should have gone with 90 degree "upgrade"?

29 Dynamic stability control MK60 E5
1 error
D355AA: Signal error (status ARS, ID: ST_ARS) - Invalid

- Related to the "Oil level too low" errors below. (And cleared up when 480C01/480C02 was resolved)

2C Parking maneuvering assistant
1 error
803201: Power supply Front ultrasonic sensors: short circuit between positive and negative

- I had replaced 2 PDC sensors with very similar, but ultimately incompatible sensors (Mercedes part number, stupid move on my part). Replaced with the correct sensors and this cleared up.

39 Vertical dynamics management
2 errors
480C01: Oil level too low or no signal (engine running, vehicle stopped)
480C02: Oil level too low or no signal (vehicle is running)

- This one was misleading for me, as I somehow thought it meant "engine oil", which I knew was not low. It of course means "power steering fluid", which also feeds the active sway bar on these cars, and other vehicle dynamics systems. And just as it was trying to tell me, mine was low. Pretty embarrassing. The good news is both this error and D355AA go away with the correct amount of power steering fluid.
