what is this damaged part on the underbelly of my (F82) m4?

My parents driveway is absurdly shaped in a way that it’s almost impossible to pull in without scraping the bottom of my vehicle.

I’ve now noticed what it appears to be something busted or bent on the underbelly.

Does anyone know what it is? And if able to answer… how much to replace it and if it’s necessary?

Thanks!

Looks like a rubber exhaust hanger. Shouldn’t be very expensive to replace.

Looks like an exhaust hanger on the mid pipe. Obviously damaged but appears to still be doing it’s job (at least for now). It’s easy and cheap to replace. I would plan to swap it out sooner than later

I feel your pain. I have an impossible steep driveway and something is always scraping.

Any ideas for a solution? My idea is to call someone to shave the sidewalk down. Because the problem point is the angle where the sidewalk is built in is way too sharp. It’s very frustrating because sits literally the only house in the neighborhood that has a sidewalk that’s not blended into the driveway.

Grinding the concrete will expose aggregate and not look good. Right thing to do is demo, regrade and repour the section, though expensive.

Or, could always just park on the road, and skip pulling into the driveway ..
