For a best launch:
-Set DSC fully off (hold MDM for 3sec)
-AC and all nannies off
-Set engine to Sport+
-Set suspension to Comfort
-Set steering to Comfort
-Lower rear tires to 28PSI
-Set trans to S3 mode
-All windows up, helmet shield down
-Drive WAY around the water box
(Only wet tires if you have DRs or slicks!)
[If you’re racing side by side:]
-At the tree go all the way to Staged
(Light the Prestage and the Staged bulbs)
-As soon as your opponent Prestages engage your Launch Control
[If you’re doing a solo run:]
-Engage launch control soon as the Staged bulb lights
[Then in both cases:]
-Use the steering wheel flipper to raise your RPM to 4K if possible
-On the green light lift your brake foot and keep the gas pedal to the floor
-Relax and steer gently if needed
-Do not touch the shifter paddles or you’ll double shift

If anything gets sketchy just lift off the gas.

I prefer to have my M1 button programmed for the launch settings above, and to have the M2 button programmed for same but with the trans in D3. This way when you cross the finish line you press M2 to put the trans back in automatic for an easier slow down and the drive back to the lanes.

Is it really much more effective putting the suspension in comfort when using launch control?

I’m thinking this is would be my daily driver configuration:

M1: all comfort and efficiency
M2: traction control off, steering comfort or sport, suspension sport+, trans S3
- this way, if dragging with launch mode, I can be ready to manually put the suspension in comfort if necessary, and just push in the brake after the car is warmed up, hold down the gas, set the rpm, and let it rip if someone pulls up to me at a stoplight or at the dragstrip.

I will say this seems like a pretty daunting process though. I’m sure most playing around on the street with dragging will be from a roll.

To launch without wheelspin you want the shocks as soft as possible.
