Deferred Maintenance 2015 M4
Hello all, I am purchasing a 2015 M4 coupe (manual 6 spd) this weekend. Car has 54xxx mi and is sold mechanically, though it does have some cosmetic flaws. Aside from oil changes, the owner has not done any real preventive maintenance. Thoughts on a list of things that I should look to have done in the near term? I fell like it's probably time for plugs. Brakes are original. I know there can be some issues with the diff seal as well as valve cover gaskets. Would it make sense to do any of these things, or anything else proactively? TIA!

If it’s manual you may find the brakes in surprisingly good shape even at that mileage. Depends of course on how he/she drove it but to be safe just check the onboard vehicle status and you’ll see if the brakes are due. I would however check the coolant expansion tank and top mount intercooler reservoir. The former has been known to seep (white residue along the seam) and the latter has been known to be low or empty due to leaks in the intercooler.
