What Year Rims Fit/Replace 21" 17 X6M?

Hello, I am new to BMW and just purchased a 2017 X6M for my wife. We are looking for another set of OEM rims. What year(s) will fit this model? I see many X6, X5, M and M Sport OEM take offs for sale locally from different years, but I do not want to buy if they won't fit. I am looking for 21" to replace the 21" we have now. I plan to turn the current set into winter rims. Thank you

if youre after a dedicated winter set, i'd consider jumping down to the 20" 611 wheels or 20" 469s. Use those as your winter set and you'll have a ton of tire options in that size. i personally run Michelin Alpins and love them. They've done well for our ski trips to the mountain.

I just listed a set of OEM 21” 612m set from my 2017 X5m. This would be a direct bolt-on for your X6m.

Any F15/F/16 F85/F86 wheels will fit...and have the same wheel bolt pattern (5x120), hub size (74.1mm) and offset range.

The e70 X5 also has the same wheel bolt/hub size/offset range.

If the offset varies too much, you may need wheel spacers...so check the wheel's offset & compare it to your original wheels to verify there won't be too much "inset" (toward the suspension) or "poke" (toward the fender).

Wheels to avoid:
  • G05/F95/F96 X5/X5M/X6M (different wheel bolt pattern (5x112) & different hub size (66.6mm)
  • e70 X5M (this model has a split wheel hub front and rear are not the same)
  • e71 X6/X6M (this model has a split wheel hub front and rear are not the same)
  • e53 X5 (smaller wheel hub {72.56mm})
