Wow! looks good.
Question for you. Those look like e90 wheels. You mention you are using 16mm spacers in order to fit them. Do they rub on the inside if you do not use the spacers? I'm trying to get a feel for which wheels (that I already have) will fit the 1er. Also, did you add camber plates to get the -2 deg of camber? If so, what kind? |

Wheels are N°217 and are specific for the Bmw 1 series with stock offset. With spacers sometimes they rub on the outside. Referring to camber: In TIS there is this chapter: You can reach 2° 10' without camber plates, only adjusting as pics. It's enough! The under steering will disappear and the tyre consumption on external side will decrease. Regards |

I'm interested in that "mod", but I'm sure my mechanic won't understand Italian, and nor do I. So... Would it be possible to post the complete TIS pictures (a part of it is not visible because you had to scroll down, I see)? And would you want to translate it? To English or French, no difference. Thanks a lot!! Gilles (Belgium) |

yes, all 1 series, also the new and the coupe.
It's very easy to do that, the only thing is to apply big strength with an hammer to remove pin 1 and, when you adjust the camber, lift the car in order to have the two wheels not touching the ground so the antiroll bar doesn’t make force. |
