Clear Bra Install - Freehold, NJ
I'm considering getting a clear bra installed on my car. If anyone has an opinion on it, please give me your 2 cents. I'm on the fence right now. Heard a lot of pros and cons.
Further, if anyone can recommend a good installer (or deter me from going to a bad one), I'd really appreciate it. There is a detailing place on Main St. in downtown Freehold that appears to do nice detailing work (I used to get my oil changed next door), but I've never seen them do work on a clear bra. Thanks to all... |

I've only seen one in person. It's invisible except you can see the line (edge) across the hood where it stops. I just couldn't stand seeing that line every day.
See one in person before you commit.....that's my advice.

In the past fours year I have owned a bmw z4 and a 986 boxster w/o a clear bra. The hood was pitted and dented on each within a short time. I recently purhcased a 987 boxster with a clear bra. After several months it still looks great and will continue to do so. Think carefully before deciding against the clear bra. BMW paint is really poor these days. |

Yes, I totally agree. Clear bra is way to go. I 'd rather see the line than seeing paint chipping off the hood.My 135i will be leaving the dealership and going straight to the clear bra install shop. |
