My CA already had mine activated when I picked up the car, including the free year. They may do that at the PDC too. If not, the radio tells you the number to call, and the unit number. Just use your cellphone, and have it instantly activated.

What if I already have a Sirius subscription and have al ready paid for 6-months? Do you get credit for the year?

If you already have a sirius subscription, this is for a 2nd radio. This 2nd radio will need to be added to your existing contract, and it will get a year of free service. If you are transferring your existing Sirius over to the new car, then they'll add a year of free to the remainder of what you've paid for.

Basically, the reason Sirius is so darned $$ as an option is they include the year, and they had to integrate it into the car.

I only need it in this car. I'll take the credit. Will confirm with the dealer.
