Did that effect have something to do with the 360 degree view? Now I remember the same thing happening to me late one night.

How late? Maybe the configurator was tired

Seems to happen whenever I choose the Savanna interior and then display the 360 walk-around. The front seats always change to the exterior color. Montego is especially amusing.
