Thanks Carlos. I can see myself getting into the habit of a 2nd push of the START/STOP button.
I was going to ask, when and how does the vehicle lock the doors with CA, does anyone know? When the fob's out of range? Or when it "goes to sleep"? I ain't leaving my car unlocked for up to 16 minutes, that's for sure!

Guys, this just is not a problem.
When you hit "stop," you just hold the button for an extra count, and the sound system (and iDrive screen) turn off along with the engine. No double presses required. It's very easy & natural. The interior lights then come on until you open the door to leave. After you get out and shut the door, you touch the ribbed area on the top of the door handle, and both doors lock. Later, when you come back to your car, the act of grasping the door handle is enough to unlock it. It will spoil you for any other access system.
