Is your 1er going to be your daily driver?
Per thread title, interested to see who will be using their 1er as their daily/only car?
Whilst i've been between cars, waiting for my new baby, I purchased a 1991 Corolla hatch with a/c and p/s for $1,100. The car was a bargain and its like being back in high school with such a sh*te car but i'm thinking it'll serve as a perfect 2nd car to take to shops, etc so that my new 135i doesn't get as many opportunities for people to be careless around it at public car parks. So, i'm curious to know, who will be using their 1er for all daily duties/as their only car?

135 - for use whenever I get a chance preferable alone, so I can enjoy the performance without scaring anyone.
Land Rover - daily driver/wife's car/family car. My 2 year old makes a BIG mess :-( Merc 420SEL - the old girl gets an occasional outing (21 years old with 60,000km on the clock) Volvo V70 - Sydney car for use when we are back there on visits.

YEP my daily Summer, Fall, Winter(YUK)Spring car. I would buy a winter beater but have no room for 2 cars. Oh well, a great set of winter snows and I should be a-ok.

Umm, I only drive on weekends as I live in the city and walk everywhere. And on the weekends, I have a few cars. But based on my test drive ofthe 135i, I have a feeling I will be sneaking out in the middle of the night to drive this thing just for fun!

Yeah but the missus can drive the C63 with young OlieWAY as it is an auto - if she feels like it. She can't drive the Aston as it is manual...

Yes, the 1er will be for daily duties. If it doesn't do the km, I get hit for FBT!
Funnily enough the previous DD was also a '91 Corolla GTi, still in original umodified condition. Never does anything wrong. Don't know what I will do with it yet. '84 318i E30 2dr- being returned to as original condition as possible and back-up for the 1er. '85 318i E30 4dr- Never gets used except to get rego and for Show and Shine. '75 Triumph- Something different  |

I finally picked my alpine white beastie up on wednesday and was assured I was the first on the road in WA. I was grumpie with the wait but all that is forgotten now as I am in lurve! Back to the thread topic...I'm going to drive Mrs 135i as often as I can. In three years time we'll all be forced to drive wooden cars powered by ultra efficient electric motors at 10kph and charged by renewable energy made from the gas emitted by politicians, so best not muck about and get driving. I'm gonna let my two engineer sons worry about the next stage in the evolution of personal transport.

Yep, My 135 is my daily drive car 10 mins to work. But I have undercover parking. The missus drives 335 Touring Auto and she loves it.By the way in the garage packed next to each other the Touring M Sport sits lover than 135!
