Old Brake & Clutch pedal are rubber, and simply pull / pop off. Here's the DIY thread w/ full instructions: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5784 Quote:
Watch this for how to remove the old spoiler: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8834 I spoke w/ JOHNL_135 and he said the double sided tape he used worked ok,..but still left some "flex" in the spoiler. Read this thread once the spoiler is off, and you are installing the new one with the betalink adhesive: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9015 Both DIY's are excellent, and Kudos go out to the guys who put them together!!! The only prob w/ the betalink, is the stuff is a goopy mess! USE LATEX GLOVES!!! Also,..try not to use too much adhesive where it oozes out after you place the spoiler. But you still have to make sure you use enough as well. Even w/ the cleaner thats included, it's a pain in the ass to get off of everything. Also,..mask off everything in the surrounding areas w/ blue painters tape. Just remove the masking immediately after the spoiler is in place, as you dont want the adhesive to dry onto the tape. This makes it very hard to cleanly remove the tape. Hope this helps.

Thanks!! Nice to hear kind words after that spoiler install.
Wasnt too hard,..but it took longer than an hour. About 2 1/2 hrs. Most of that was cleaning up the adhesive that got onto everything.

The CF spoiler is one of the best additions you can add to the 1er. At first I was 50/50, now I am completely sold.

Your ONE looks great! I was wondering how the CF spoiler would look on black...amazing. You have a fine jewell on your hands. I've had black so much in the past I just had to try AW this time.
I used the double-sided 3M tape for my install covering all areas completely and am perfectly satisfied after the install...taking about 40 minutes from beginning to end to do the install. Call
