Shift Knob

I have seen two different shift knobs on interior pictures of standard transmission 135s, one is all black leather knob and one is a two-tone black/silver knob. Does the all black knob come with the sports package? Is it not available in the US? What's the deal?? I'm sure this was covered already, but I couldn't find it.

P.S. I'm taking delivery of my 1 in a week and couldn't be more excited:roundel: thanks you 1addicts for keeping me sane these few months

The 2 tone black and silver is the BMW performance shifter and it's an aftermarket part for the 1 series (and probably 3 series).

No I think he's referring the standard "silver" knob that comes on the 128i and 135i vs the all black perforated leather M knob that comes with the 135i ZSP package. Your car should already have the M-knob if you got the sport package, but anybody who didnt get the ZSP knob could easily add it later if they wanted (I probably would...looks cool.)

I wasn't aware there were two possible shift knobs. I would defintely get the sport package, so i haven't actually built a car online with the standard knob.

Look on the configurator - it will switch the knobs when you add/delete the sport package.

135i knob (my car has the sport package, but I'm not sure if that makes any difference on a 135)
