Should I Buy This M3
I have been looking for a used M3 and have recently found one. It's a 2008 with 2,000 miles on it. They are asking 55k for it and told me that they accepted an offer for 52k(the offer fell through), but I think they will go lower. Here are the options the car has.
Alpine White Fox Red Extended Novillo Leather Carbon interior trim Cold Weather Package Premium Package Technology Package 19" wheels Smartphone Integration Enhanced Premium Sound iPod and USB adapter What do you guys think about this deal?! |

Sounds good to me, but of course try to get them as low as possible but even 52k is a really good buy. Its basically new with almost all the options

Soo.. This past weekend I flew up to maryland(where the car was) to go see the car and hopefully buy it if it check out ok... As my plane landed and I turned on my phone to get a text from the dealership saying they sold the car!!! They would only take a non-refundable deposit which I wasn't going to do without seeing the car. They sold the car for 53k which was more then I was going to give them. Maybe it was meant to be..
The good new is I started to shop around again and have run into an even better deal! Here it is: 2008 M3 Coupe Alpine White Black Novillo Leather Sycamore Anthracite Wood Trim Premium Package Technology Package 19" Forged and polished Double Spoke wheels M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic Enhanced Premium Sound iPod and USB adapter Satellite radio with 1 year subscription Park Distance Control (rear only) Total MSRP as Built $71,270 The car has 1,800 miles on it and is located in the same state as me so I also don't have to ship it. I have an accepted offer for $53,000. I am getting all the paperwork done this week and the car should be mine by this weekend! What do you guys think?! |

Obviously the first car wasn't meant to be and was just a way to get you to fly out there so you could find the actual car you were going to buy.
Sounds like you got a heck of a car at a heck of a deal. Congrats and pst pics of your beauty as soon as you can.

Thank you everyone! It wasn't that bad that I flew to maryland because my family lives there so at least I got to see them. I will defiantly post pictures of the car as soon as I get it. This forum has been a GREAT help.
For those of you looking for deals this is what I did(for the car I am buying)... I went to BMWusa.com and searched all the dealers in my state and surrounding states. I had about 40 dealers. I started calling them originally looking for a demo M3. While calling I had several salesman tell me that they do not have any demo M3s however they do know of a client that they sold a car to that is looking to sell there M3. They said if I was willing to do a 3rd party transaction they could put the deal together if I was interested. I probably called 20ish dealerships and I had 2 or 3 salesman tell me that. After all those phone calls I finally found the car I wanted with the options I wanted and a salesman to help put an amazing deal together. If you have some time and are looking for a deal I would recommend doing what I did! FYI for the first car, I just searched cars.com I might know of a similar optioned car minus DCT that a dealer has knows a client that may be interested in selling it. Not sure what it will go for(didn't try negotiate ) but if your interested PM me. I want to thank everyone on this forum for all the helpful information! It defiantly helped me with the purchase of my soon to be new M3 |
