FT - 2008 6spd Coupe
Whats up guys? Just seeing if there's any interest in a trade. I have a 08 M3 Coupe. White with carbon roof. Speed cloth, 6spd, Tech, Cold pkg, BMW Assist, 18" wheels, full clear bra, (40in on hood, full bumper, door handle cups, trunk ledge, behind front and back wheels, headlights and side mirrors covered). The car is in mint shape. It has 16k miles on it and looks as if it rolled out of the show room floor. I am looking to trade for a 08 or 09 M3 sedan. Colors and options negotiable. 6spd or DCT. Let me know, thanks.

Or something similar. Has to be a sedan and has to be white. Everything else is negotiable. Thanks.

Probably not, but it completely depends on the state you transfer the title to.
For example, Washington state has a set of criteria to determine how much Use Tax you pay: http://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/usetax.html. You could just "gift" the cars to each other. Hypothetically, I wouldn't have to pay tax as long as M3prsiv already paid sales tax when he got the car. Here's the tax law in TX: http://www.txdot.gov/drivers_vehicle...tive_value.htm. M3prsiv won't pay tax for a trade, either. |

Or have somebody with a dealer license do the transaction for you for a nominal fee ($500). Here in NJ you would have to repay taxes on it.. No such thing as a gift here.
