1.) Nope, not yet. Definitely feel it on the butt dyno and I sure see that TC light more.
2.) Nope, 2000+ miles and nothing. I got a BavTech Scan tool to check and keep a netbook laptop in my car at all times just in case. 3.) Stock

I had a JB+ here's a link to the dyno I did, this was done with the jB+ at 100% and the solenoid bypass. The JB3 however is much smoother, but bang for the buck you can't really go wrong.

At the time of that dyno i was completely stock, except for maybe the CDV delete.. that doesnt count . Just the JB+ at 100% and solenoid bypass (Things have changed since ). And the reason for the significant drop between pulls is the stock intercooler, IATs were too high and the JB+ cuts power as IATs increase beyond a certain point. This is according to Terry not my words.

If you are concerned about your warranty, make sure you have a BT scanner as some people have claimed they threw a tuner code as low as 75% with no other mods at e90post. Most people have had no problems

So far so good. I have only been running it for about 2500 miles but I am loving it...

Last time we hit the dyno we put down 286 on a mustang dyno with only downpipes and full exhaust. We havn't thrown the car back on the dyno with the new mods but were hoping to do that soon.

I ran the JB+ on my 335i for the last 5k miles or more. 65% setting with solenoid bypass. No codes, no lights, no dealer detection.
JB3 is definitely smoother than JB+, also has different throttle mapping (best way to describe it is like a BIG NA engine - the more throttle you give the more boost it builds, therefore more progressive and linear). |

I have had it at 100% with the bypass from day one and it drives very well. I will eventually upgrade to the 3 but only because Terri makes it so easy. I will be satisfied with a tune only car for a long time, then I'll just start adding mods to it. Pretty much anything you add will go great with the engine tunes. And by a long time I mean 8 - 12 months...
For the price its a no brainer, very easy install and within few minutes you have 50 more HP and about 60 torque. You can feel this increase its not a placebo effect. Modding your new BMW is risky and you can get caught. The scanner can minimize this and in most cases negates it completly but if you run the engine outside its designed limits especially with engine tunes... It may be possilble for them to find out. And they would be justified in voiding the warranty, So There. Consider yourself warned... Happing motoring!!!!

Taking delivery of my 09 135i tomorrow morning! Should I wait after the break-in period to install the JB+? Not sure if it makes a difference. Anyone throw it on right away?
